the temple

the church building is not the “church” y’all. the temple has 3 purposes: prayer, teaching & worship it is where the actual church (the body of Christ) meets. to this date, i have not found such a temple. and that’s because it is full of selling. people selling themselves & their “goods”. yes, there are those true worshippers every now & then. and there are definitely good teachers here & there. i’ve been privileged to hear some. and they’re all overcome by selling themselves. pretentious and prideful. as we all are i reckon. nobody wants to be seen for who they truly are & nobody wants to tell what they really are. their fears, their shortcomings, their sins, their lack, their needs, what they suffer from. that’s where prayer comes in. we’re supposed to pray for one another. how can we do that if we’re not open and honest with our brothers & sisters? if i don’t know what’s going on with you, how can i pray for you? where can you find someone who is honest and caring enough to listen, keep your concerns in confidence and honestly pray for you when they spew out “thoughts & prayers”? i haven’t found but a couple of those people as of yet. our “church” is weak from my point of view. or maybe it’s just me & my expectations. i have high standards i reckon. i get exhausted & disgusted easily which creates great frustration. and i don’t want that in my life. maybe i’m the weak one. prideful & critical. i pray that my Lord will show me the way & show me the people. my church family. i miss worshiping together as children of our Almighty God. true worship. not people trying to show off in a “praise team”. (i know bc i was one of them). in the meantime, i offer my worship & gifts on a daily basis & i offer true prayer for anyone & everyone in need. hmu...
