Religion is toxic to a creative person...
The only creatives that have benefited from organized religion are actors, performers, costume designers & architects. All others have created under conviction and guilt. On the contrary, those who share real life and are in true relationship with God expound & overflow in diverse creativity and are free to express their gifts without condemnation. In fact, God is so free in His giving that everyone experiences some form of creative thinking and has an ability to express their art uniquely and personally, regardless of personal beliefs & morals. It is completely up to the artist to use & express their talent willingly and unapologetically.
A creative can either experience the joy produced in the process or dull themselves to a state of frustrating production & obligation. Living color and all it’s vibrancy with diverse notes of musical ecstasy transcends satisfaction. It is a spiritual experience all together beautiful & wonderful to all the senses. Deliciously flavorful to taste.
