this is the latest oil painting i did back in 2020 pre-covid. it’s 36x36” on canvas. it’s big, thick & heavy heavy on the paint and texture. i call it Louise because i was obviously inspired by the sculpture of Louise Bourgeois. This painting had started out in a totally different direction which i just couldn’t get enthusiastic about. so i switched up and went for something that i felt flowed much more easily. i wish you could see this one in real life and up close, bc i think it’s so much more when you’re spending time in the space taking it in. i have this one hanging in my dining room.
