lost art

woke up thinking about the lost art of beautiful, cursive handwriting. it’s hardly practiced anymore with the time, discipline & patience that it once was. you can tell. sadly, folks don’t take their penmanship seriously & we have minimized or ignored the value of it. i am old enough to know people by their handwriting because i’ve read their letters, notes & signatures enough to recognize the style. and the awesome thing about penmanship is that everyone has a unique style. and i’m sure i’m not the only one who tends to somewhat judge a person’s intellect based on their quality of handwritten words. just how it looks alone, whether it’s correct spelling or grammar or not. it’s my opinion that computer fonts & tech communication leave A LOT to be desired. so enjoy this little piece of vintage cursive writing i found online & practice your written word.
